Carefully selected grapes are harvested by hand at the peak of ripeness and then are carefully fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve the freshness of the fruit aromatics and flavors with maximum intensity of color. The nose features intense expressions of ripe cherry and raspberry, with hints of dusty cocoa and spice aromas. It has a lush texture with soft tannins, succulent and rich, medium bodied and well-balanced, with a silky smooth lasting finish.

Feudi del Duca
The family estates spreads over 100 acres of vineyard. The winery was founded in the 1970s by Armando Merge, who incorporated the centuries-old family tradition of wine making, with the modern pursuit of high quality wines for an international market. Today, his son, Felice Merge, manages the estate. Felice has proven to himself and to his father, that by studying at some of the cutting edge wineries of Italy and abroad, he was able to foster his own distinctive style of wine making. Felice uses a combination the most contemporary technology combined with the heritage of family know-how in the production of quality wines and healthy grapes.
