Bodegas Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva 20052005 (YES 2005) Bodegas Hacienda Lopez de Haro RESERVA
92pts Robert Parker

Only $13.99/bottle ($143.88/case)
Reg. $16.99
Buy Online*For those who grabbed a case a week or so back of the $125 a box 91 pointer from 2008, this is the BIG brother. Seriously, a 2005 RESERVA for $168 a box? WOW!The 2005 Hacienda Lopez de Haro Reserva is a blend of 90% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano and 5% Garnacha aged for 20 months in French and American oak. It has a beautiful, rounded, sensual bouquet with hints of over-ripe Satsuma and gravel. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of piquancy on the entry. It has crisp acidity and taut tannins on the dry, dusky finish but it remains extremely well-focused. Drink now-2025.
Callia Alta Malbec 20132013 Callia Alta Malbec
Only $11.99/bottle ($143.88/case)
Reg. $13.99
Buy OnlineI’m not a huge pusher of Malbec as you know, but this one over delivers and I was quite impressed with it. This is worth a flyer on a box. Will compliment all your grilling this spring and summer and is not overly heavy. Just right in fact!!The grapes for this deep purple wine are hand-harvested from vineyards located in Caucete in the iconic San Fran region of Argentina, and is has bountiful aromas of cherries, plums and soft spices. It has a balanced and elegant palate and a smooth, lingering finish. A very fine Argentinean Malbec. *Try serving ever-so slightly chilled to enhance the experience. Delicious!!
